About

Service Alberta is seeking pre-qualified contractors to act as Nominating Authorities under recent amendments to the Builders' Lien Act that establish a prompt payment and prompt payment adjudication framework for construction contracts in Alberta. The Province will identify Pre-Qualified Contractors through a Pre-Qualification Request and place them on a Standing Offer List; selected contractors will enter Master Agreements from the Effective Date until May 31, 2025, with the Province able to extend agreements up to two additional years.
