Sole-Source Motorola Maintenance Support for RCMP Radio Communications in Ontario and Quebec

Royal Canadian Mounted Police awarded a contract to Motorola Solutions Canada Inc.

for a sole-source Motorola Maintenance Support Service program to support the infrastructure and equipment used by RCMP's Operation Control Centres (OCCs) in Ontario and Quebec.

The CR3 project provides RCMP officers with a two-way radio communications capability for day-to-day Federal Policing operations in mission-critical areas across Ontario (O and National Divisions) and Quebec (C Division).

While internal RCMP technical maintenance teams provide much of the day-to-day support, Motorola Maintenance Support Service is required to ensure continuous and reliable operation.

The contract, valued at CAD 13,185,916.3, establishes a long-term Maintenance Support Services Program (MSSP) with Motorola for the infrastructure and equipment used in National, C, and O divisions, effective April 1, 2024.
