Tender: CRA Parts, Installation and Maintenance for Integrated Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems Across Canada
Released about 2 months ago
About
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is seeking a supplier for parts and labour (technical support, programming, installation, service, and maintenance) on an as-and-when-requested basis for its Integrated Security System (ISS) at CRA locations across Canada, and is considering converting up to 51 sites currently using Digital Security Controls (DSC) intrusion systems and Kantech access control systems to a unified Kantech intrusion/access control platform. The CRA has identified potential conversion site counts by region: National Capital Region (up to 11), Ontario (up to 13), Quebec (up to 1), Atlantic (up to 4), and Western (up to 22). Bidders may submit for one or more regions with a single submission that clearly identifies each region and includes region-specific technical, resource and pricing information; non-region-specific requirements (project experience, certification, corporate qualifications, etc.) need only be submitted once. The CRA intends to award up to five contracts (one or more regions per bidder), each for three firm years with four irrevocable one-year options to extend, and reserves the right to add, remove or modify products and sites; bids will be evaluated per region, must meet mandatory criteria to be responsive, and the highest combined rating of technical merit and price per region will be recommended for award. Proposal documents may be submitted in English or French; questions should be emailed to Timothy.Berg@cra-arc.gc.ca; bids must be submitted using the Connect service as directed to the Canada Revenue Agency Bid Receiving Unit (BRUg@cra-arc.gc.ca) and will not be accepted if emailed directly to that address. The solicitation is open to Canadian suppliers and suppliers of applicable trading partners, includes security requirements and the Federal Contractors Program for employment equity, and specifies minimum work guarantees for the entire contract period by region (NCR $100,000; Ontario $100,000; Quebec $50,000; Atlantic $50,000; Western $100,000).
