Tender: Generator Inspection and Maintenance Services for RCMP Detachments and Facilities in Nunavut

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Iqaluit is seeking a supplier for generator inspection and maintenance services at RCMP locations across Nunavut, including Cambridge Bay, Clyde River, Gjoa Haven, Kinngait, Qikitarjuaq, Taloyoak, the Iqaluit Headquarters Building and the Iqaluit Hangar. The contract is for a 36-month period from the date of contract with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, and contains a security requirement. This procurement is subject to the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and the Directive on Government Contracts in the Nunavut Settlement Area, requires bidders to maximize Inuit employment, subcontracting and on-the-job training, and mandates submission of an Inuit Benefits Plan (IBP). The solicitation is restricted to firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR); bids from businesses not on the IFR will be declared non-responsive. Selection requires compliance with all mandatory solicitation requirements and will be based on a combined rating of total IBP merit (30%) and price (70%). The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada; documents may be submitted in either official language and tenders must be sent to NWR_Procurement_Bids@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
