Tender: General Contractors for QRT Source List – 22 Wing North Bay, Ontario (DCC)
Released 3 months ago
About
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking general contractors to join a Quick Response Team (QRT) source list to perform construction work for the Department of National Defence at 22 Wing North Bay, Ontario; the source list will remain in place until August 6, 2029 and may be used for projects with estimated values between $100,000 and $500,000. Interested contractors must apply by e-mail using the Source List application form, attention Rowana Brown at NBContracting@dcc-cdc.gc.ca (applications by fax or mail will not be accepted); requests to join can be made at any time subject to terms and conditions and require approximately 10 days administrative processing, and DCC requests submissions as soon as possible, preferably by August 6, 2026. The language selected on the application will be the sole language used for all tender and contract documents and communication for the duration of the source list. While a security clearance is not required to be added to the source list, tenders and contracts under the QRT may include organization and personnel security requirements (typically Designated Organization Screening and personnel reliability status) and may, in some cases, require Facility Security Clearance at the SECRET level with approved Document Safeguarding and secret clearance for personnel. Contracts include measurable performance standards per form DCL81 (available at https://www.dcc-cdc.gc.ca/industry/forms); bidding documents are available on http://www.merx.com (fees may apply: https://www.merx.com/public/pricing) and contractors may be removed from the source list for unacceptable performance.
This could be ideal for general contracting firms able to undertake construction projects in the $100,000–$500,000 range at 22 Wing North Bay and willing to apply by e-mail; key considerations include the language lock for all documents and communications, potential security clearance requirements up to SECRET with document safeguarding, the DCL81 performance evaluation that can remove contractors for poor scores, and the preferred application timing of August 6, 2026 with ~10 days administrative processing.
