Tender: General Contractor Source List for Quick Response Tenders — CFB Edmonton (3‑Year, up to $500,000)
Released 2 months ago
About
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking contractors to be placed on a Quick Response Tender (QRT) source list to provide general contracting services at CFB Edmonton, Alberta for a three-year period. Applications are being accepted for the General Contractor category (ED26SL05); DCC may use QRTs for projects with an estimated value up to $500,000. Interested contractors must submit the Source List application form by email to Brett Cooper at Brett.Cooper@dcc-cdc.gc.ca (fax or mail will not be accepted), and may request to join the source list at any time subject to the SL terms and conditions and an administrative processing time of approximately 10 days; DCC requests submissions preferably by September 24, 2026. The language selected by the applicant will be the only language used for all tender and contract documents and communications for the duration of the source list. Procurement follows Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. While security clearance is not required to be added to the source list, individual tenders and contracts may include organization and personnel security requirements (typically Designated Organization Screening and personnel reliability, but possibly Facility Security Clearance at SECRET with Document Safeguarding and SECRET-cleared personnel). Performance is assessed using DCL81-Performance Evaluation Guidelines and unacceptable scores may lead to removal from the source list. For more information contact the DCC site office at 780-266-1884 or brett.cooper@dcc-cdc.gc.ca; bidding documents are available on merx.com (fees may apply).
This could be ideal for general contracting firms experienced in government construction and able to handle projects up to $500,000 over a three-year period. Key considerations include the applicant’s single language choice for all documents, potential organization and personnel security requirements up to FSC SECRET with document safeguarding, performance evaluations under DCL81 that can remove firms from the list, and the recommended application timing (preferably by September 24, 2026) with an approximate 10-day processing period.
