Defence Construction Canada is seeking a contractor to provide construction management services for the Wainwright Base Program at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Wainwright, Alberta. The delivery method is Construction Management and the intended scope, should the project proceed, includes construction of new buildings for accommodation, training, warehousing and administration; upgrades to extend existing buildings’ lifespans; demolition of end-of-life buildings; and horizontal asset improvements such as utilities, roads and parking. The project estimate is approximately $525,000,000 and the anticipated solicitation is July/August 2026, conditional on Department of National Defence approval. To be eligible for award, proponents must actively hold or obtain Designated Organization Screening (DOS) security clearance prior to award; Defence Construction Canada is offering sponsorship under its Industrial Security Program to begin the clearance process (contract number 86945), but sponsorship or clearance is not guaranteed and applicants bear any associated risks or fees.
