Defence Construction Canada is seeking a design-builder to recapitalize the Anti‑Armour Range at 5 Canadian Division Support Base (CDSB) Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick under a modified design‑build delivery. The project, estimated at approximately $109M with an anticipated posting in November 2026, includes upgrading Firing Point 6 to replace Firing Point 4 to maintain Level 5/6 training capability during construction; constructing four new 2 km firing lanes with crossing lanes, protective berms, fire base pads, UXO clearance, vegetation management, arc markers, buried electrical conduits for target systems, a multi-storey control tower and a climate‑controlled sentry shack; subsequently upgrading FP4 with four recapitalized firing lanes, crossing lanes, protective berms, tank table positions, UXO clearance, vegetation management, arc markers and buried electrical conduits; and providing a new ~455 m² climate‑controlled administrative building plus refurbishment of the existing control tower. This is an Advance Procurement Notice (not a solicitation) that includes security requirements — proponents must hold or obtain the required security clearance (anticipated Designated Organization Screening/DOS) prior to award; Defence Construction Canada may provide sponsorship assistance through its Industrial Security Program but sponsorship and clearance are not guaranteed.
