Construction company needed to construct the Ramsay Elevated Guideway between the Ramsay/Inglewood Station (near 11th Street) and the 26 Avenue Station, delivering the elevated rail structure and associated civil, structural and site works. The scope includes piling, piers, approach slabs, deck, abutments, wingwalls, girders, barriers, plinth pockets, safety railing and deck anchorage for the overhead catenary system, as well as elevated guideway drainage and tie-ins. Works also cover earthworks, site preparation and stabilization, final grading, landscaping, site servicing, temporary and permanent roads, temporary access and traffic control, utility works (including duct banks and cable containment), OCS foundations, low-voltage lighting, electrical isolation/grounding/bonding, fire and life-safety piping and commissioning, removal/relocation of conflicting infrastructure, laydown areas, temporary works design and monitoring, noise/vibration and environmental mitigation, and construction management. The package interfaces with the Priority Package Blackfoot Trail LRT Bridge and with other construction packages including the Ramsay/Inglewood stations (two stations, guideway, utilities buildings, MSE/secant pile wall, MUPs and roadworks), communications and traction power systems (wayside), signaling and train control systems, and trackwork above sub-ballast.

This opportunity is suited to contractors with experience in elevated rail and complex civil-structural projects who can manage multi-package interfaces and comprehensive temporary works. Key challenges include coordination with the Blackfoot Trail LRT Bridge and adjacent station and systems packages, utility relocations, traffic management, noise/vibration and environmental mitigation, and delivery of OCS foundations, electrical grounding and system tie-ins.
