A contractor is sought to supply, install and commission LRT trackwork from Ramsay Inglewood Station to the project limits and/or for the Maintenance & Storage Facility (MSF), either as Scope A (Main Line), Scope B (MSF) or Scope C (combined). Work includes ballasted track (TOR to top of sub-ballast), direct fixation track where specified (TOR to bottom of plinths), test track works, special trackwork such as turnouts and crossovers, track-related right-of-way equipment, crossings, ducting and cable containment, and embedded track components and fittings. The scope covers design and implementation of Temporary Works, field review and monitoring, support of excavation, laydown areas and traffic management, construction noise and vibration mitigation, and environmental protection measures. Proponents must provide labour, supervision, materials, plant and equipment, survey, quality and environmental control, documentation and testing support, interface coordination, and system assurance activities including FAT, FIT, PICO, SAT, integrated interface testing and trial running support. The trackworks interface with stations, bridges, the MSF building, public roads and pedestrian crossings, utility zones and embedded track areas, transition slabs, temporary tie‑ins, wayside communications and traction power systems, and signaling and train control.

This could be ideal for experienced rail trackwork contractors and rail systems integrators capable of delivering ballasted and direct-fixation LRT track from design through commissioning. Key considerations include responsibility across design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and warranty; managing temporary works, excavation, noise/vibration and environmental mitigation; and close coordination with multiple construction packages and extensive testing regimes (FAT, FIT, PICO, SAT).
