About

Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is seeking a supplier for BF78572-1: major bridge replacement and associated roadworks carrying HWY 1:21 over the South Saskatchewan River in the City of Medicine Hat (NE 35-12-06-W4M). The scope includes Preliminary Engineering, Detailed Design, Contract Tendering, Contract Administration, Construction and Fabrication Supervision, and Post-Construction and Warranty Inspection for the bridge replacement plus grading, granular base course (GBC), asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) and other related work. This RFP is open only to proponents pre-qualified in Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors’ Major Bridges pre-qualification category; submissions from others will be returned. Proposals must be submitted as two separate PDF files—Part One (Technical Qualifications) and Part Two (Proposal Fee)—each under 10 MB. This is a Request for Proposal (not an Invitation to Tender); Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors may request clarifications, accept or reject proposals without negotiation, or negotiate changes to the successful proposal.
