Alberta Assisted Living and Social Services is seeking suppliers to join Qualified Service Provider (QSP) Resource Lists for Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD). The PQR closing date has been extended to March 31, 2028 and Master Agreements have been extended to the same date; existing QSPs do not need to take action to maintain their status, while proponents may resubmit (a new submission and Master Agreement will replace any previous submission). The Province will assume a QSP agrees to changes in the Master Agreement unless the QSP notifies ALSS.CPO@gov.ab.ca within 30 days of the notice that they do not agree. A Notice of Extension of Summary of Changes is available outlining updates to the Reference Document, Submission Package, and Questions and Answers. Proponents must identify the Service Categories and Service Delivery Regions for which they seek qualification; the Ministry will generate Resource Lists of Qualified Service Providers monthly after evaluation, and those lists may be used to call for proposals and/or award contracts without further competition (a separate RFP may be advertised for specialized services).

This is relevant for service providers who deliver family support services to children with disabilities and wish to be listed as Qualified Service Providers for Alberta’s FSCD program. Key considerations include the extended PQR and Master Agreement end date of March 31, 2028, the automatic extension of agreements with no action required by existing QSPs, the 30-day window to object to Master Agreement changes by contacting ALSS.CPO@gov.ab.ca, the fact that resubmission replaces prior submissions, and the need to review the Notice of Extension of Summary of Changes and related documents because Resource Lists can be used to award contracts without further competition.
