Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking electrical contractors to be placed on a Quick Response Team (QRT) source list to perform work for the Department of National Defence at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The source list will be active for three years from establishment and may be used for projects with estimated values up to $500,000. Applications must be submitted by email using the Source List application form to Ryan.Pfeifer@dcc-cdc.gc.ca (fax or mail not accepted); contractors may request to join at any time but DCC prefers submissions by March 24, 2026 and notes an administrative processing time of approximately 10 days. The language selected by the applicant will govern all tender and contract documents for the duration of the source list. While security clearance is not required to join the source list, individual tenders and contracts may include organization and personnel security requirements (typically Designated Organization Screening and personnel reliability status, and potentially Facility Security Clearance at SECRET with Document Safeguarding and secret personnel clearance). Contracts include measurable performance standards per form DCL81 and contractors receiving unacceptable or failing scores may be removed from the source list. For more information contact Ryan Pfeifer at Ryan.Pfeifer@dcc-cdc.gc.ca or 403-544-4901; bidding documents are available on Merx (fees may apply).

This could suit electrical contractors experienced in government or military facility work and able to deliver projects up to $500,000; key considerations are potential security requirements (which can include FSC at SECRET and document safeguarding), the need to meet measurable performance standards under DCL81 that can lead to removal from the list, the binding language selection for all documents, and the requirement to apply by email with an administrative processing time of about 10 days (DCC prefers requests by March 24, 2026).
