Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking Design‑Build teams to design and construct multi‑unit residential housing for the Canadian Forces Housing Agency at CFB Gagetown (New Brunswick), 14 Wing, CFB Greenwood (Nova Scotia) and CFB Halifax (12 Wing Shearwater, Nova Scotia) using a modified design‑build approach. Three separate contracts will be awarded (one per site) with estimated construction cost ranges of $295–$370 million for CFB Gagetown, $105–$131 million for 14 Wing Greenwood, and $174–$218 million for CFB Halifax (Shearwater). The RFP and bidding documents are available on MERX and proposals must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bidding System by the closing date shown there; the solicitation is conducted under CFTA, CETA (Chapter 19) and WTO‑GPA requirements. The scope identifies a multidisciplinary design team including design team lead, architects, structural/mechanical/electrical/civil engineers, urban planners, technologists, project manager, superintendent, BIM specialist and Indigenous relations coordinator, and includes budgeted scope‑of‑services fees for each site.
