Defence Construction Canada is seeking a Design-Builder to design and construct a new single-storey facility (approx. 1,650 m2 footprint) and an exterior compound of about 6,500 m2 near the existing CETEMT compound at CFB Uplands in Ottawa, Ontario. The facility will include offices, workspaces, meeting rooms, maintenance garages and workshops, specialized spaces such as secure storage and a weapons vault, and support areas including a kitchenette, washrooms, server rooms and parking. The ROM estimate for the contract is approximately $17M and the anticipated solicitation posting is Q4 FY26/27. Contract award will require FSC Secret industrial security clearances and the project includes an Indigenous business participation component under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business; DCC is offering early sponsorship support through its Industrial Security Program.
