About

Canada is seeking a design-build firm or joint venture through a two-stage juried solicitation to provide Design and Build services for the rehabilitation of the Official Residence at 24 Sussex Drive in Ottawa, Ontario. This Request for Qualification (first stage) will identify eligible proponents for the subsequent design-build competition. Canada reserves the right to invoke a national security exception to Canada’s Trade Agreements for this procurement, and detailed security requirements for participation in future stages will be provided to the RFQ as an addendum.

Insight

This opportunity is aimed at individual design-build firms or joint ventures capable of competing in a two-stage juried procurement; key considerations include the potential exclusion from trade agreement obligations if a national security exception is invoked and mandatory security clearances/requirements for later stages.
