Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking a contractor to submit a tender for the construction of the 2 Service Battalion HQ Administration Company Building at Garrison Petawawa, Ontario as part of Step 2 of this solicitation. This notice amends the previously posted closing date from September 10, 2026 to September 24, 2026 (time and closing location unchanged). Only the following Tenderers who met the mandatory requirements of Step 1 are invited to submit tenders for Step 2: EBC Inc.; Ed Brunet and Associates Canada Inc. / Odimtawin Construction Inc.; EllisDon Corporation; JSCM Co; LAURIN & COMPANY; M. Sullivan & Son Ltd.; Pomerleau Inc.; and Quad Pro + NGA. Plans and Specifications are available in the Electronic Bidding System and bidding documents are available on MERX; tender pricing includes an IBP Amount (item 1) expressed in dollars (weight 10) and a lump-sum price for the Work inclusive of the IBP Amount (item 2) (weight 90). Bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget is greater than $100,000 (see Instructions to Tenderers, Form DCL193, paragraph 5). The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 1,078 calendar days after notification of contract award and Final Completion no later than 84 calendar days after Substantial Completion. This opportunity is primarily for the eight shortlisted construction firms invited to Step 2; it will suit contractors experienced in large government/military facility builds.
