About

The Province is seeking a supplier to provide detailed design, secure approvals, prepare tender documents, and deliver project management and construction monitoring services to restore and redevelop the Wolf Lake West Provincial Recreation Area (PRA) Overflow Campground following a 2023 wildfire that caused an estimated 80–90% asset loss. The scope includes hazard tree removal plans and implementation, site assessments and a conceptual design report, restoration/redevelopment of the overflow campground generally consistent with pre-fire function and capacity while meeting current operational requirements and long-term asset objectives, and upgrades to signage using the Alberta Parks standard sign catalogue. The contract is anticipated to commence by November 30, 2026 and be completed by December 15, 2027.
