Tender: Park Infrastructure Assessment and Class D Cost Estimates — Dillberry Lake Provincial Park (Post‑tornado July 2026)
Released 8 days ago
About
Consultant needed to carry out a comprehensive assessment of above- and below-ground infrastructure at Dillberry Lake Provincial Park, a 2,990-acre park near the Alberta–Saskatchewan border about 20 km southeast of the Town of Chauvin, after significant damage from a July 2026 tornado. The work includes condition assessment and Class D cost estimates for refurbishment or replacement of aging infrastructure (much built in 1975) across the campground (Loops A, B, C: 75 powered campsites and 8 unserviced campsites), one group-use area, two day-use areas, trail network, potable water distribution, wastewater and electrical servicing (15- and 30-amp pedestals), and park buildings and amenities such as the registration booth/camp store, firewood shed, operations shop, storage garages and quonset, staff residence, shower and change-house buildings, open-air cook shelters, day-use parking, boat launch and dock, waterfront fish cleaning stations and lifejacket loaner booth, plus scattered water spigots and vault toilets. The scope requires review of existing assessment documentation, desktop review and targeted visual verification to validate baseline conditions; roadways, campsite amenities (fire rings, picnic tables, benches), playgrounds, the campground beach day-use vault toilet, and abandoned vault toilets and pumphouses are excluded. Refer to the RFP for the full scope and Appendix 2 map.
