About

The Department of National Defence is seeking a supplier for AN/SSQ-53G (GPS) DIFAR sonobuoys, stock code 5845-01-663-0428, part number 130-9044-101. The requirement consists of the delivery of six (6) lots (lots consist of quantity 1,186 sonobuoys – 1,152 + 34 for lot sample testing) of sonobuoys to be delivered within 9 to 12 months. To eliminate the requirement for qualification and stores clearance testing, the sonobuoys must be currently flight qualified on either the P-3 Orion or CP-140 Aurora aircraft. There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.
