About

The Ministry is seeking a supplier for the supply and delivery of one handheld photosynthesis meter to measure plant gas exchange during soil and vegetation investigations. The instrument will quantify carbon dioxide uptake and water vapour loss from leaves and provide measurements of photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance and transpiration rate to assess plant health and physiological stress in response to contaminants and adverse environmental conditions. These measurements support investigations to identify and characterize known or suspected sources of contaminants and to assess potential adverse effects on vegetation and crops resulting from soil contamination and other environmental stressors.
