About

The ministry is seeking a supplier for one autonomous remotely operated underwater vehicle (AUV/ROV) to support underwater environmental assessments. The AUV/ROV will enable ministry staff to conduct assessments more efficiently and safely while collecting higher-quality imagery and environmental data to inform operational decision-making during spills, contaminant investigations, and environmental response activities. The ministry conducts water quality monitoring, environmental investigations, and emergency response activities throughout Ontario, including within the Great Lakes, connecting channels, and large river systems.
