About

Shared Services Canada is seeking suppliers to pre-qualify for Virtual Hosting Solutions to modernize the Government of Canada’s on‑premises virtualization footprint across enterprise data centres and regional and edge environments. This second-round Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is the initial phase of procurement for enterprise on‑premises x86 hosting; suppliers who meet the ITQ terms and conditions will become “Qualified Respondents” eligible to participate in later procurement phases. Current and future requirements may encompass large-scale hosting capable of supporting upwards of 150,000 virtual machines while meeting strict security, data residency, and operational continuity expectations. This ITQ is not a solicitation for bids and will not result in a contract award.
