The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking a supplier for professional book scanning services to digitize technical reference materials, historical documents, manuals, reports and other records to preserve source materials and improve access to digital records for operational and research activities. All initial deliverables must be received within sixty (60) days of contract award. This solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers under the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement; bids from suppliers of a Non‑Trading Partner will be rejected. Contractor resource(s) are required to hold Facility Access II (FA2) security clearance as verified by the RCMP Personnel Security Unit. Bids must comply with all solicitation requirements and meet mandatory technical evaluation criteria; the responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for contract award. Documents may be submitted in either official language and tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit at David.Repsys@rcmp-grc.gc.ca. Bidders are encouraged to use environmentally preferable packaging for delivered goods.

This could be ideal for Canadian scanning service providers experienced in digitizing technical and historical records who can obtain Facility Access II (FA2) clearance and meet a 60-day initial delivery schedule. Key considerations include the Canadian-only eligibility requirement, the FA2 security clearance, strict mandatory technical criteria with award to the lowest-priced compliant bid, and the encouragement to use environmentally preferable packaging.
