Pacific Science Enterprise Centre (PSEC) is seeking a contractor to supply materials, equipment, tools, labour and services to perform shotcrete concrete reinforcing and thickening of pile caps under the wharf at 4160 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC. The scope includes review of site-specific information, mobilization and demobilization (all crew, tools, equipment, means of access and materials), site clean-up after completion, and shotcrete application to approximately 82.5 linear metres of pile caps as outlined in the tender drawings. Bidders may visit the site at their own expense to verify access, weather and soil conditions and other factors that could affect the work. All work, including clean-up and demobilization, must be completed by February 28, 2027.

This could be ideal for contractors experienced in marine shotcrete and pile cap restoration who can mobilize equipment and crews to work under a wharf; key considerations include managing access and working conditions under the wharf, exposure to weather and site conditions, the requirement for bidder site visits at bidders' expense, and meeting the fixed February 28, 2027 completion deadline.
