The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions Canada (OSFI) is seeking a supplier for a subscription to curated Canadian macroeconomic data, regional and sub‑national statistics, and Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) data delivered via an application programming interface (API). The requirement includes comprehensive national, provincial and metropolitan economic and financial time series (50+ years where data exists), regional labour, population, housing and business indicators, residential real estate market data (sales, prices, listings and indices), a software platform or web interface for searching, visualizing and exporting data compatible with common analytical tools, enterprise-wide licensing for all OSFI users, documentation, training and technical support, and a modern API supporting automated time-series retrieval, metadata, bulk extraction, standard authentication and machine-readable formats such as JSON, CML or CSV. The ACAN names Haver Analytics as the pre-identified supplier; OSFI will accept statements of capabilities from other suppliers during the posting period and will proceed to award to the pre-identified supplier if no qualifying statements are received. The proposed contract term is one year with three one-year options, the estimated value including options is USD 46,559, ownership of foreground intellectual property will vest in the contractor, and the Government Contracts Regulations exception under subsection 6(d) has been invoked. Statements of capabilities must be submitted by October 8, 2026 at 2:00 pm (EDT).
