Defence sustainment industry representatives are invited to participate in an online Industry Sustainment Business Case Analysis (SBCA) Workshop (date TBD), scheduled 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (EDT). The workshop will help industry understand Defence Materiel Sustainment and the SBCA process, industry’s role in supporting SBCA, and how SBCA may affect the delivery of sustainment solutions for military equipment; it will be delivered in English via Microsoft Teams with an invitation and presentation slides provided 1–2 weeks before the workshop and conducted in an informal Q&A format. The SBCA framework uses a whole-of-government approach and evaluates options against the four sustainment principles—performance, value for money, flexibility and socio-economic benefits—and workshops do not address specific SBCA files or procurements.
