Tender: NRC Flight Research Laboratory – Procurement and Engineering of Mission-Tailorable AS-3 ISR Sensor Pod

The National Research Council’s (NRC) Flight Research Laboratory (FRL) is seeking a supplier for a mission-tailorable AS-3 intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) sensor pod to support DND-funded research. The requirement establishes a 5-year Standing Offer for the order of raw materials, design, engineering and manufacture of a baseline AS-3 pod, assistance with clearing the pod for operations on NRC aircraft, and integration of initial sensors. Work may include engineering and technical support and manufacture or modification of the pod structure, brackets, wiring and fairings/radomes necessary to support current and future sensors, and additional parts or services as required to support operation and employment of the AS-3 pod at NRC.
