Tender: National RFP for Heavy and Compact Construction Equipment with Attachments and Services – Canoe/Sourcewell
Released about 1 month ago
About
Canoe Procurement Group of Canada and Sourcewell are seeking suppliers for heavy and compact construction equipment with related attachments, accessories, parts, maintenance, leasing programs and other complementary services in a national contracting solution for use by their participating public sector members across Canada and the United States. The solicitation is organized into two award Categories — Category 1 for heavy construction equipment (wheeled, tracked and backhoe loaders; motor graders; wheeled and tracked excavators; cranes; bulldozers, heavy soil compaction, scrapers and haulers) and Category 2 for compact/medium equipment (wheeled, tracked and backhoe loaders; skid steers; mini excavators; telehandlers; compact/medium compaction equipment) — and awards will be made by category; proposers must select the one category that fits their submission. Proposals must be submitted only through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal and are due no later than November 3, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time; late or alternate-format submissions will not be considered. The resulting contract term is four years with the option for up to three additional one-year extensions (and potential further extensions in exceptional circumstances). This RFP is issued under applicable Canadian trade agreement rules and Sourcewell encourages participation by Small, Minority-owned, Women’s Business Enterprise and Veteran-owned suppliers. The solicitation excludes construction services, attachment-only solutions, leased-equipment-only solutions and used-equipment-only solutions, though proposers may include complementary used equipment or leasing and related services only where they are incidental to the primary solutions proposed.
This opportunity will be most relevant to equipment manufacturers, dealers and large resellers able to supply heavy and/or compact fleets plus complementary parts and services to public-sector agencies across Canada and the U.S.; key considerations include strict portal-only submission and the November 3, 2026 3:30 p.m. CT deadline, the need to clearly fit the selected Category to avoid being deemed non-responsive, multi-year contract term with possible extensions, compliance with listed trade agreements, and the encouragement of S/M/WBE/VBE participation.
