About

The Municipal District of Taber is seeking a supplier for professional consulting services to develop and implement an Equitable Property Taxation Policy; proponents must demonstrate proven experience with Alberta municipal taxation and governance projects, expertise in the Municipal Government Act (MGA), Alberta municipal legal counsel, policy and bylaw development experience, and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. Municipal Council has prioritized a review of the taxation framework to ensure it is equitable, transparent, sustainable and aligned with legislative requirements and Council’s strategic priorities, and has approved a Terms of Reference for this initiative provided in Appendix “A”.
