About

Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is seeking a supplier to provide labour, materials, supervision and equipment to clean, inspect, service and repair heat recovery ventilators (HRVs), oil‑fired furnaces and furnace/heat pump combo units, heat pumps, and smoke alarms (including combination smoke/carbon monoxide units) in residential housing units within Costello Park, 14 Wing Greenwood, Nova Scotia. A site visit is scheduled for September 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM at 83 School Road, Greenwood NS (attendance highly recommended). The estimated cost for the opportunity is $1,072,270.52. Work for Phase 1 must be completed no later than March 31, 2027; Phase 2 runs April 1, 2027 through March 31, 2028, with a possible Phase 3 extension from April 1, 2028 through March 31, 2029 under the same terms if mutually agreed. Phase 1 and Phase 2 each list quantities including HRV inspection/service (554), furnace service/inspection (167), heat pump service/inspection (376), electric furnace (central heat pump) deep clean (184), servicing of smoke alarms and combination smoke/CO alarms (2,235), replacement of smoke alarms (280), replacement of combination smoke/CO alarms (25), plus a lump‑sum balance item.
