Marine Atlantic Inc. is seeking a supplier for drydocking and refit services for the M.V. Highlanders, including all required shipyard services, labour, facilities, equipment, project coordination and support to carry out vessel inspections, mechanical and electrical maintenance, structural repairs, coating and preservation activities, safety equipment servicing, and associated class and regulatory certification activities. The M.V. Highlanders is available to be taken out of service for refit from April 7, 2027 to May 31, 2027. Proposals must be submitted electronically via MERX EBS only and will be received until 2:00 pm Atlantic Time on September 14, 2026; late submissions will not be considered and Marine Atlantic may accept proposals in whole or in part and is not obligated to accept the lowest-priced proposal.
This opportunity is suited to shipyards and marine repair contractors capable of full-service drydocking, refit and class/regulatory certification work.
