Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) is seeking suppliers to provide two Information Technology Security Research and Development Specialists (Level 3), one Satellite Communication Specialist (Level 3) and one Telecommunication System Specialist (Level 3). The solicitation intends to establish up to four contracts, each with a three‑year term, for work to begin ASAP in the National Capital Region (3701 Carling Ave, Ottawa) and Trenton, ON. This Tier 1 (< $4.5M) requirement is open only to the pre‑qualified suppliers listed under the Task‑Based Informatics Professional Service (TBIPS) Supply Arrangement (SA EN578‑170432) and has been conditionally set aside under the federal Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB), requiring businesses to certify Indigenous status to be considered. Security requirements include Supplier Security Clearance at Secret/Top Secret/NATO Secret, a citizen restriction to Canadian/Five Eyes, a FOCI review, and no document safeguarding level.
