About

The Department of National Defence is seeking a supplier for diving equipment and related underwater positioning, communication and sonar components to support the Halifax-class MCM Diver Held Sonar Imaging And Navigation System (FDU A and P), with delivery requested to CFB Halifax and CFB Esquimalt. Required items include Diver Positioning System (Long Base Line), Sub‑Sea Transponder (Underwater Position), Sub‑Sea Communication (Underwater Position), cell batteries, power cable/lanyards, speed log/Doppler sonar system, MNT, and Micro DNS transducers as detailed in the Annex Statement of Requirements; the procurement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services and the Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers. Offerors must submit the specified Annex offeror forms in their original formats (Excel and PDF where required), agree to the solicitation clauses and conditions, and, if proposing equivalent or substitute products, identify the brand name, model and/or part number and the NCAGE; documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
