Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo Economic Development & Tourism (FMWBEDT) is seeking a qualified organization or consortium to design, administer and deliver the Business Assist Program, a hands-on business support and capacity-building initiative for small and medium-sized businesses in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo. The program provides time-limited, individualized access to qualified specialists who work alongside business owners or employees through practical training, guidance, knowledge transfer and implementation support to address specific challenges and create tangible business improvements or completed resources while increasing participant capability. The maximum proposed contract budget is CAD $100,000 before applicable GST and must be inclusive of program setup, administration, expert fees, outreach, technology, reporting, six-month follow-up tool development and handover and all other costs, with GST shown separately if applicable; the successful proponent will coordinate the full program and subject-matter experts. This is not a referral-only service, a series of standalone workshops, nor a guarantee of participant demand.
