Kneehill County is seeking a contractor to provide curbside residential garbage collection services in designated hamlets, responsible for the collection, transportation and disposal of household waste in accordance with the Request for Proposals. The initial contract term is three years commencing January 1, 2027, with the County retaining the option to extend the agreement for up to two additional one-year terms for a maximum five-year duration. Proponents must demonstrate relevant experience in residential solid waste collection and transportation and have the personnel, equipment and operational capacity to deliver the required services throughout the contract term.
This opportunity is well suited to experienced residential solid-waste contractors that already have personnel, vehicles and operational capacity to service multiple hamlets; proposers should be prepared to demonstrate relevant experience and to meet the RFP’s collection, transportation and disposal requirements and to commit resources from the January 1, 2027 start for the initial three-year term with potential one-year extensions.
