The County of Grande Prairie is seeking a contractor for construction of a 120 ft x 60 ft multi-use asphalt recreation pad in Whispering Ridge Park at the corner of 154 Avenue and 106 Street. The project, budgeted at approximately $123,280.00, includes site preparation and review, utility locates, removal and disposal of topsoil and unsuitable material, excavation, grading and leveling to accommodate the existing slope, subgrade preparation and compaction, fine grading and surface shaping, geotextile fabric and/or geogrid reinforcement where required, construction of a granular base course and hot mix asphalt pavement suitable for recreational use, surface grading and drainage management with a surface finish suitable for seasonal flooding and winter skating, and restoration including final grading, topsoil placement and seeding and cleanup as described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables").
