About

Contractor needed to carry out breakwater rehabilitation in Fortune, Newfoundland. The work requires furnishing all plant, labour, equipment and material and includes removal of a portion of the existing breakwater with stockpiling of stones for re-use; demolition and removal of the reinforced concrete deck and wall on top of existing SSP cells; cutting and removal of existing SSP cells to indicated elevations; re-installation of stockpiled material; supply and installation of new armour stone as indicated; and removal of the existing navigation light with coordination with the Canadian Coast Guard. Bidders may visit the site at their own expense to verify conditions and must review the Health and Safety specification and take appropriate safety measures. The contractor must perform and complete the work within twenty-four (24) weeks of contract award.
