Tender: Administration, Operations and Maintenance of Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport (Quebec)

Transport Canada is seeking a supplier to provide administration, operations and maintenance services for the Îles-de-la-Madeleine Airport facilities located at 210 Chemin de l’Aéroport, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, G4T 5L2. The work covers management and upkeep of runways, taxiways and aprons; access roads and parking areas including public parking lots; airport buildings (air terminal, maintenance garage, warehouse); heavy equipment, tools and various mechanical (plumbing, ventilation, heating) and electrical systems; ensuring compliance with aviation and other applicable regulations; responsibility for safety and security on site; and collaboration with Transport Canada on the Safety Management System and broader operational goals. The contract period is April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028 with an irrevocable option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods on the same terms. A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. ADT at the airport and bidders must confirm attendance by emailing Contracting Authority Suzanne LeBreton at suzanne.lebreton@tc.gc.ca no later than Monday, October 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. ADT; bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or send a representative will be declared non-responsive. The procurement is subject to several trade agreements including the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CETA, CPTPP and the WTO-AGP, and contractor personnel requiring access to protected information, assets or sensitive work sites must each hold a valid Reliability Status before contract award.
