About

The Government of Alberta’s Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI) Ministry is seeking a contractor to update, conduct and analyze the 2027 Environmentally Sustainable Agriculture Tracking Survey (ESATS) of Alberta primary agriculture operators. The contractor will update the survey instrument, collect and analyze current survey data and previous results on producers’ perceptions and implementation/use of environmentally sustainable agriculture (ESA) practices, provide a database of current and historical data and deliver the formulas used to calculate adoption rates to support a Power BI dashboard so AGI can replicate calculations; the survey is a data source for GOA reporting and informs ministry policies, programs and services, with methodology consistency required for comparisons to past ESATS cycles (2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, 2023 and 2025).
