Agriculture and Agri‑Food Canada is seeking suppliers to provide as‑and‑when requested sequencing services for plant, animal and micro‑organisms obtained from soil, animal, microbial, plant or other samples. Services required include receipt of samples, library construction and quality control, next‑generation sequencing (DNA and RNA), genomics, shotgun metagenomics and metatranscriptomics, high‑throughput sequencing, data analysis, recording, and safekeeping and disposal of samples. Supply arrangements must be submitted only through CanadaBuys (SAP Ariba); a continuous Notice on GETS will allow new suppliers to become qualified until 31 December 2029 at 2:00pm ET, existing qualified suppliers holding a supply arrangement are not required to submit a new arrangement, and the period of the supply arrangement runs to 31 March 2030.
