About

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada awarded a contract to Microsoft Corporation for the purchase of Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) licenses under the Digital Platform Modernization (DPM) Programme.

The DPM Programme is a multi-year investment delivered through a phased implementation approach across three consecutive and overlapping phases, divided into four tranches.

Tranche 1 implements a Client Experience Platform (CXP), tranche 2 is the initial implementation of the Case Management Platform (CMP), and tranches 3 and 4 add additional lines of business.

Tranches 1 and 2 must occur concurrently to allow the Department to transition from the legacy platform to a modern platform capable of meeting growing demands and responding to crises, emergencies and operational pressures effectively and nimbly.

The contract value is CAD 1,925,358.
