About

The Rural Municipality of Hanover is seeking a supplier for waste, recycling and compost collection and processing services to serve the districts of Mitchell, Blumenort, Grunthal, New Bothwell, Kleefeld and surrounding rural areas for a five-year term from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2031. Bidders must provide a detailed yearly fee schedule and may include escalating annual rates and a schedule of fuel surcharges. The contractor must provide collection using a truck capable of automated-bin collection; all solid waste/garbage must be delivered to an approved Class 1 landfill facility, all recyclables to an approved recycling facility, and all compost materials to RM of Hanover property at 28078 Road 29E (1.5 miles north of PR 205 on Road 29E).
