About

Renovation contractor needed to upgrade and extend the arena washrooms at Sam Southern Arena, 625 Osborne Street. Work includes creating new gender-neutral washrooms and a new Universal Toilet Room, demolition and removal of existing washroom and corridor fixtures, partitions, floors, ceilings, doors, finishes and millwork, and installation of new partitions, fixtures, washroom accessories, doors, water fountain finishes, FRP, flooring and accessible signage including adult and baby change tables. The project requires modifications to existing plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler and electrical systems; new or modified lighting, emergency call systems, door operator and access-control systems (including push-to-lock operator and occupancy indicator), emergency annunciator, LED dome light and sounder; plus any associated structural modifications (to be assessed by a structural engineer), firestopping, patching and making good. See B3 for Site Investigation. Funds available for this contract are $470,000.
