The City of Calgary is seeking a supplier for a vendor-managed rental rag program to provide reusable shop rags for technicians in maintenance shops across several facilities. The successful proponent will supply durable reusable rags, launder soiled rags, pick up and deliver rags, manage inventory at each facility, replenish stock to agreed minimum quantities, and replace rags lost through normal wear, damage, or contamination subject to agreed shrinkage terms. Services are usually required on a bi-weekly basis, with frequency for individual facilities negotiable with the awarded proponent.
