Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is seeking a contractor for transverse crack repair, cold milling, asphalt concrete pavement, minor grading, granular base course, culvert works and related road construction on multiple Central Region highway sections: Town of Mundare to Hwy 16 (km 44.890–47.103), Town of Mundare to Hwy 29 (km 0.000–20.585), and Hwy 16A to Hwy 45 (km 0.000–33.680), plus an intersection improvement at the junction of Hwy 855 and Twp. Rd. 550. The contract requires the contractor to supply all materials and includes approximate quantities such as 160,100 tonne supply of aggregate (with option), 25,300 tonne granular base course, 136,300 m2 cold milling, 117,100 tonne Asphalt Concrete Pavement EPS Mix Type M1, 9,700 tonne EPS Mix Type S1, and multiple culvert removals and installations including smooth wall steel pipe up to 900 mm dia.
