About

Shared Health is seeking a supplier for microtome blades for pathology sites in Manitoba via a Request for Quotations covering five categories: low-profile blades; high-profile blades; low-profile blades with enhanced safety packaging; high-profile blades with enhanced safety packaging; and low-profile blades with enhanced safety packaging for use with cryotomes. Proponents may submit non-binding quotations for one or more categories (maximum one quotation per category), are encouraged to identify any volume-based, bundled or cross-category pricing discounts which must be clearly stated, and deliveries and site locations are detailed in Appendix D (Section B) of the RFQ Particulars. Shared Health, acting as both Coordinating Entity and Purchaser, reserves the right to award categories in whole or in part based on best economic interests and evaluation criteria, gives preference to Canadian and non-US suppliers whose submissions meet the solicitation’s essential requirements, and may re-issue the tender.
