Tender: Supply Arrangement for South Coast Salmon Monitoring and Biological Support – British Columbia

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Pacific Region is seeking suppliers to enter into Supply Arrangements to provide South Coast salmon monitoring and biological support services on an “as and when requested” basis across the South Coast area of British Columbia (Vancouver Island, Mainland Inlets and Sunshine Coast). The work is organized into four categories—(1) population monitoring and biological support, (2) fishery monitoring and biological support, (3) habitat monitoring and biological support, and (4) population, fishery and habitat analysis—and bidders may propose for one or more categories and for one or more geographic zones (Zone 1: Cape Lazo to Jordon River South including the Sunshine Coast; Zone 2: Tatchu Point to Cape Lazo including mainland inlets; Zone 3: Tatchu Point to Jordon River North). Supply Arrangements will set predetermined terms and ceiling rates for subsequent contracts and allow DFO to negotiate prices based on actual requirements. The procurement includes two umbrellas: a PSIB stream set aside for First Nations, Tribal Councils, First Nation‑owned and other Indigenous businesses (not subject to the listed international trade agreements) and a General stream subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). There is no security requirement for the Supply Arrangement, an ongoing qualification process will be maintained with a Solicitation “A” closing June 30, 2028, and the Contracting Authority is Tammy O'Toole (DFO.tenders-soumissions.MPO@dfo-mpo.gc.ca).
