Shared Health is seeking a supplier for large volume infusion pumps and related accessories, consumables and service to meet province-wide clinical requirements in Manitoba. The Coordinating Entity intends to replace existing devices (approximately 7,000 pumps in use) and select a pump that meets clinical care setting requirements; however, a proponent’s device may not be acceptable for all settings, and the Coordinating Entity may award to one or more shortlisted suppliers and adjust purchase quantities over the agreement term. This is a multi-stage RFP requiring proponents to submit recorded vendor demonstrations with their proposals, and those meeting mandatory business and technical requirements will be invited to a clinical tabletop evaluation using scenario-based requirements to demonstrate safety, usability and other significant device parameters.
