Tender: Snow Removal and Sanding Services at CIRNAC Properties — Iqaluit, Nunavut

The Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) is seeking a supplier for snow removal and sanding services at CIRNAC properties in Iqaluit, Nunavut, covering the parking lot of building 918 (approx. 150 sq. m), driveways at staff houses 424, 426 and 474 (each approx. 30 sq. m), and the Tundra Buddies Daycare building 2100 (approx. 594 sq. m). The contractor must know the boundaries of areas to be plowed, be responsible for any damages or repairs caused to the properties, transport plowing equipment to and from the sites, treat main roads, the listed parking lot and driveways, ensure safe vehicle and pedestrian access to and from the properties and municipal roads, and monitor weather to apply sand as appropriate. This procurement is reserved under Article 24 of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement and is limited to Offerors registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (registration required by offer closing); there are no security requirements. The contracting authority has been changed to Bruno Paradis (Bruno.Paradis2@sac-isc.gc.ca) and the proposed contract period is from award to March 31, 2029 with options to extend by up to two additional one-year periods.
